Building Men of Integrity: To build men of integrity and character. To help them mature into men who are equipped and inspired to make a difference in the world and excel in whatever they may do after college.
Light on Campus:To be a light on campus, striving to better the Greek community through our involvement in campus organizations. We, along with most of the Greek system work to change the stereotypes of the Greek community that have plagued it for so long. Our house challenges its members to better themselves, others around them, and to promote an image of integrity throughout the campus. Membership in Theta Chi is demanding, but ultimately rewarding.
What we can offer:The basic idea of Theta Chi, and indeed all fraternities, is the concept of brotherhood. It is often said that brotherhood cannot be taught or learned, and to some degree this is true. However, one thing remains certain: brotherhood must be built. It is built upon mutual respect and trust. Without respect and trust there can be no brotherhood.
Brotherhood: n. a fraternity of men with a common interest and creed.
A glorious past is ever telling
of friendships that will never die.
Within us peace and union dwelling,
While honor crowns the Theta Chi.
-Howard R. Alter Jr.
In addition to brotherhood, our fraternity provides undergraduates with a well-rounded experience including academics, community service, athletics, and a thriving social life. Theta Chi is a great place to expand your horizons and build connections that will last a lifetime. For details on these individual areas, please check them out down below.
